Join evo’s 5th Women of Winter Backcountry Clinic for an unforgettable two days spent practicing and connecting with other budding backcountry enthusiasts at this event designed to provide you with your first experience using AT or splitboarding gear in a friendly environment that’s all about learning. Have a bit of experience in the backcountry already? This event is also perfect for slightly more seasoned BC riders to connect with women who are just starting to hone their backcountry skills.

Join us at the Seattle store on the evening of Wednesday, March 16th for a BC safety talk from Crystal Mountain Pro Patroller, Christina von Mertens, and an avalanche airbag demonstration. Pick up your goodie bag and demo gear if you need it. Light appetizers will keep you fueled while you brush up on your backcountry knowledge.

On Saturday, March 19th we will head to Crystal Mountain to meet up with the Crystal Mountain women patrollers who are stoked to take the day and show us their backyard.

Our day will begin with a quick meet-up at Crystal Mountain before breaking into groups. Conditions will dictate where the day takes us, but rest assured that you will get time to practice with your beacon, probe, and shovel, tour Crystal’s amazing backcountry terrain, and connect with other rad women. We will end the day by recapping our adventures at the base of Crystal.
